AI funding for NHS is moving again - and the rules for governing it just got a major update.
AIDF Round 2 is opening access to AI-enabled diagnostics for networks who haven't benefited from the fund before. At the same time, the MHRA's National Commission into the Regulation of AI in Healthcare has just published its recommendations for how AI should be regulated and governed going forward.
We're bringing together a panel to unpack what both of these mean:
🔹 Prof David Lowe, Deputy Director CERSI-AI / Emergency Medicine Consultant NHS GGC
🔹 Dr Ed Middleton, Director of Strategy, MHRA
🔹 Dr Claire Morris, Head of Innovation Adoption and Collaboration, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
🔹 Dr Haris Shuaib, CEO of Newton’s Tree
We'll discuss what the MHRA's recommendations actually mean in practice, how hospitals are approaching AI adoption and governance on the ground, and where a platform approach fits in.
Whether your trust is preparing an AIDF2 bid, already underway, or thinking about how to govern AI tools once they're live, this session will be relevant.
Can’t make it live? Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording!
