Eolas Medical is intended to be used by licensed healthcare professionals within primary and secondary care  clinical settings to facilitate rapid access to clinical knowledge, including local institutional guidelines, protocols, policies, and national reference materials. The platform enables users to retrieve, review, and apply relevant clinical information at the point of care through a digital interface that supports decision-making in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients.

The system is designed to reduce the time burden and variability associated with locating up-to-date clinical information across disparate sources such as intranet folders, printed materials, or non-standardised systems. It centralises this information into a structured platform and leverages artificial intelligence (AI), including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agentic document extraction, to interpret natural language queries and return contextually appropriate, traceable answers.

The product is intended to support—but not replace—clinical judgment. It is suitable for use in acute and non-acute hospital environments, across a broad range of clinical specialties. Typical users include doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and allied healthcare professionals involved in direct patient care.
